Where school spirit, belonging, and culture come together.

My inspiration for The House Collective began when I was just seven years old. My mother attended a teacher training at Ron Clark Academy, and while I didn’t go with her, she came home with stories and photos that completely captured my imagination. From that moment on, I dreamed of experiencing that kind of school culture for myself.

Although I never attended the academy as a student, the inspiration stayed with me. As I got older, my mother attended two more trainings after moving to a new school. She introduced her school community to Ron Clark and the house system, and soon the principal and additional teachers attended the training as well. The experience was so impactful that the principal wanted every teacher to have the opportunity to go.

When I later became a teacher at that same school, my mom helped bring the house system to life there. Teachers chose their houses, and we both chose House of Rêveur. She became the very first member and house leader. Over the years, I poured my time, creativity, and heart into the house system, and three years later, I became co-leader alongside her.

The House Collective is my way of sharing what we built together. Every design reflects the pride, connection, and sense of belonging we created within our school, now offered to a larger community, so more schools can experience that same spirit.
